We are located in the hamlet of Brundish near Framlingham, amidst the quiet beauty of rural mid Suffolk. Situated within 20 minutes of the Suffolk Heritage Coast with miles of beaches, quintessential villages with fabulous public houses, miles of footpaths to discover, and small lanes to cycle, Potash Barns is the ideal holiday and retreat destination.  Framlingham is six miles distance and has a good range of shops, bakeries, takeaways, chemist, doctor's surgery, petrol stations and the famous Framlingham castle. Brundish is well positioned, and within easy reach of the beautiful Heritage coast, with Southwold, Aldeburgh, Snape, Dunwich, Minsmere amongst the most favourite to visit. Diss, Woodbridge. Ipswich, Felixstowe and Yarmouth are a little further away, but easily accessible on good roads. We are midway between Norwich and Ipswich, and well situated for Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Needham Market.

The Large barn is divided into, Willow Barn on one side, and Old Oak Barn on the other. In between there is a stunning vaulted communal hall, with it's imposing chimney, large wood burner and three sumptuous Knowle sofas. It retains the feel of the barn's original features, with the high timbered ceiling and stone threshing floor. When Old Oak, Willow Barn and Cart Lodge are rented together, the large, oak dining table in the hall comfortably seats 14 to dine, which is fabulous for large gatherings, Christmas reunions and retreats. To the north across the farmyard, is the two bedroom Cart Lodge. Having undergone extensive modernisation and complete refurbishment, the lodge provides very comfortable, single story accommodation, ideal for less mobile guests. The layout of the complex allows for separate individual bookings, while being perfect for large group who block book two or all three barns.The barns are provided with, tea, coffee, sugar, along with tea towels, kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet rolls and towels.

The Potash Barns complex consists of three recently modernised and refurbished, self-contained holiday homes.  The barns are fully equipped with modern appliances including a washing machine, dishwasher and a new gas range cooker. Each barn sleeps 4 people comfortably on new 'Zip and Link' beds, so they can be used as individual 3ft single beds, or joined to make a comfortable 6ft super king size bed. All the barns can accommodate additional guests with the use of either a sofa bed or Z beds.

The closest village of Laxfield is three miles away, there is a well stocked Co-op, IP13 8DH, open from 6:00 -22:00, 7 days a week, and two excellent pubs both serving food. We can receive arranged supermarket deliveries on behalf of guests.

Children over 14 are welcome. No Pets
